Menagerie create educational and professional development workshops around our productions.  We are always open to invitations for one-off workshops so please contact us if you have questions or proposals.

Our two most recent productions had very different educational packages, each of which complemented the show.  For Correspondence (Autumn 2008), we developed an interactive workshop for further and higher education students which explored the role of design within the show.  It proved very successful in engaging them with all aspects of the production and how a single visual or musical idea can influence the creative process.

For the tour of Out of Your Knowledge (2007), playwright Steve Waters designed a workshop for writers which mirrored the very process of how we made the play.  We have taken this as the seeds for a brand new education project which we are developing with regional partners.

We are currently developing plans for long-term collaboration with Anglia Ruskin University Drama Department.  This will involve teaching workshops, creating internships and providing opportunities for students to gain experience of working with a professional company.
