LATE ADDITION TO PROGRAMME

Investment

Random Scream is a multi Media performance group from Brussels
Investment playfully examines the issues of consumerism, culture, politics and the environment from the point of view of the “Investor”.  As governments attempt to kick-start the global economy, Investment looks at the moral maze of our created culture and invites the audience to question their values and directly compare the urgency of the issues facing us today. Devious and political, Investment is a dance piece, a theater piece, and quite possibly an advertisement for the lottery itself.

This is a rare opportunity for UK audiences to see a work in progress performance from this unique company just weeks before its premiere at the Impulsetanz festival, Vienna.

Investment is performed by Jerry Killick, who was in Menagerie’s Correspondence last year and is a regular collaborator with Forced Entertainment, Davis Freeman, who, as well as running Random Scream, has also performed regularly with Meg Stuart/Damaged Goods and Forced Entertainment and Fabien Prioville, who has worked for many years with Pina Bausch’s Wuppertaler Tanztheater
